Read more > The update brings with it a slew of new features and a few bug fixes, but for now, the best way to get your hands on the update is to download it from Samsung’s Play Store.
To do that, you’ll need to download the latest version of the Android app and sideload it to your phone.
Once installed, you should be able to run the app.
Once you’ve done that, open the Settings app, select Apps, and select Update Now.
In the Updates section, tap the Check for Updates button to confirm that you want to update.
Once the update has been installed, open up Settings and select the Android version you downloaded.
Then, swipe down on the notification bar and you should see a new Android Version number at the bottom of the screen.
Tap that to check the version and then tap Install.
This is the first step in the Android update process.
Once it’s installed, tap on the icon in the upper-left corner of the notification drawer and select Check for updates.
You should see an Android version number at this stage.
Tap on that to confirm you want the update, and tap Install to complete the process.
It should take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
If you have an older phone, the process may take longer.
After the update finishes, tap back on the screen and you’ll be presented with a notification.
Tap it to confirm the update and then reboot the phone.
Your phone should now be able access Google Play and its payment system from the home screen.
